LIC Housing Finance to issue 1 crore shares

LIC Housing Finance Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 01, 2009, had approved further issue of 1,00,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each through placement with Qualified Institutional Investors (QIP). A separate item in respect of the same will be included in the Notice of 20th Annual General Meeting to be held on July 21, 2009 for approval of the Members.

The stock was trading at Rs.523.10, down by Rs.6.20 or 1.17%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.534.40 and low of Rs.502.30.

The total traded quantity was 241168 compared to 2 week average of 416569.
