Kwality Pharmaceuticals Ltd receives CDSCO nod to Initiate Preclinical Pilot Batches of Pembroluzimab

Kwality Pharmaceuticals Limited has achieved a significant milestone in its biologics development journey after receiving permission from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) to manufacture pilot batches of Pembroluzimab for preclinical studies.

The approval follows a comprehensive review of the product's development data submitted by the Company's R&D team. Based on the data evaluated, CDSCO has granted permission to proceed with pilot-scale manufacturing for the generation of preclinical batches, marking the product's transition from the research and development stage to Pre-Clinical stage.

KPL aims to be among the first wave of generic manufacturers to launch Pembroluzimab following the expiry of the reference product's patent, subject to successful development and the necessary regulatory approvals.

Shares of Kwality Pharmaceuticals Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2670.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2697.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3368 in over 530 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2722.00 and intraday low of 2650.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9035486.00.
