The Board of Directors of Winsome Textile Industries Limited at its meeting held on 25th June, 2026, has approved the proposal for Dye House expansion and modernization of the Spinning machinery of the Company.
The above said expansion and modernization includes Upgradation comprising enhancement of production capacity of yarn spinning, modernization of spinning facilities through installation/upgradation of machinery and equipment and expansion of Dye House capacity. The project also includes strengthening of the Company's environmental infrastructure through augmentation of effluent recycling capacity, upgradation of the existing Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and improvement in sludge handling systems.
The proposed project (as required under SEBI Master Circular No. HO/ 49/ 14/ 14 (7) 2025-CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026) is expected to increase production capacity of spinning from 108288 spindles_to 110352 spindles and Dyeing Capacity of Yarn and fibre from 12715 MT/Year to 15972 MT/Year. The current capacity utilization of the spinning unit is 93% and dyeing unit is 86%
The capacity addition will broaden the Company's product portfolio, strengthening its ability to attract more high-value buyers and securing new order volumes which will help in building long-term relationships with premium international/domestic brands. The capacity addition/modernization will also optimize operating costs and investments in effluent treatment will enhance environmental sustainability.
The estimated project cost shall be approximately Rs. 170 Crs Approx. and will be funded through internal accruals/ debts. The project is expected to be completed within 31st March, 2028.
