Foundation Stone laid for 300 MW solar power plant of NHPC Ltd in Rajasthan

Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone for 300 MW Solar Power Plant located at Village: Karnisar-Bhatiyan, Teh.: Poogal, District- Bikaner, Rajasthan in virtual mode on 16th February, 2024. The project is being set up by NHPC under Government of India's CPSU Scheme, Phase-II, Tranche-III with total investment of over Rs.1,732 Crore and is scheduled to be commissioned by September, 2024.

Shares of NHPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 92.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 92.61. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18476503 in over 69912 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 95.90 and intraday low of 92.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1734577331.00.
