Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of April 2022. The company has reported 42% YoY increase in sales during April 2022 at 11847 units as against 8340 units in April 2021. Domestic sales grew 41% in April 2022 at 11197 units as compared to 7961 units in April 2021.
LCV sales was up 4% YoY at 4159 units in April 2022 as against 4007 units in April 2021. Domestic LCV sales increased 4% YoY to 4124 units during April 2022, as compared to 3978 units in April 2021.
M&HCV sales increased 77% YoY to 7688 units in April 2022, as against 4333 units in April 2021. M&HCV bus sales was up 81% YoY to 604 units in April 2022 as compared to 333 units in April 2021. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 77% YoY at 7084 units during April 2022, as against 4000 units in April 2021.
Domestic M&HCV sales during April 2022 was up 78% YoY at 7073 units, as compared to 3983 units in April 2021. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 83% to 6805 units in April 2022 as against 3723 units in April 2021. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 3% to 268 units in April 2022, as compared to 260 units in April 2021.
