Prism Cement Board recommends 10% dividend

Prism Cement Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 03, 2007, inter alia, has transacted the following:

1. The Directors has recommended dividend of 10% on Equity shares of Rs 10/- each.

2. The Directors has considered an increase in the production capacity through a brownfield expansion of 2 million tonnes of clinker at Satna, Madhya Pradesh and thereafter setting up a greenfield project of 2/3 million tonnes of clinker at Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. It is expected that after these expansions, the total cement capacity of the Company would increase to around 10 million tonnes by 2011-2012.
