ACC Production for June 2007 at 1.70 million tonnes

ACC Ltd has announced that the Company's cement production and dispatch figures for the month of June 2007. The Cement production during the month of June 2007 was 1.70 million tonnes and Cement despatches were at 1.70 million tonnes.

Whereas the Cement production during June 2006 was 1.53 million tonnes and Cement despatches were 1.55 million tonnes.

The Cumulative Cement production between January - June 2007 was 10.21 million tonnes and Cement despatches were 10.20 million tonnes. In the period between January - June 2006 the Cement production was 9.68 million tonnes and Cement despatches were at 9.67 million tonnes.

The company has shown an increase of 11.11% in cement production during June 2007 compared to the figures for last year. The cement despatches were up 10.96% in June 2007 at 1.7 million tonnes compared to 1.55 million tonnes last year.

The stock closed the day at Rs.936.60, up by Rs.2.80 or 0.30%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.951 and low of Rs.920. The total traded quantity was 213474 compared to 2 week average of 250735.
