Cable Corporation allots shares on preferential basis

Cable Corporation of India Ltd has announced that the Shareholders Grievances and Transfer Committee of the Company at its meeting held on April 09, 2007, has allotted Equity shares as detailed below upon exercise of right of purchase of shares on preferential basis by equity option holders as approved by the shareholders in their meeting held on November 25, 2005, under Section 81(1A) and other applicable provisions if any, of the Companies Act, 1956:

1. Sentouki Finance & Investment Pvt Ltd: 7,00,000 No of Shares
2. Krishabh Chemicals & Plastics Pvt Ltd: 5,25,000 No of Shares
