Punjab National Bank to increase the spread from 3.5% to 4% over BPLR

Punjab National Bank has announced that the Board of Directors of the Bank at its meeting held on March 29, 2007, has decided to increase the spread of the Bank from 3.5% to 4% over BPLR in respect of loans to identified sectors namely Commercial Real Estate and Non Deposit Taking Systemically Important NBFC's (Other than AFC's).

Shares of PNB were trading at Rs.474.30, up by Rs.1.40 or 0.30% on volume of 56298 shares.
