Patni Computer Systems allots 60396 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

The Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of Patni Computer Systems Ltd vide resolution dated March 23, 2011 has allotted 60,396 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees / directors including 21,296 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 10,648 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) to foreign based option holders pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options granted to them under the Company's Stock Option Plan.

The stock was trading at Rs.465.15, up by Rs.4 or 0.87%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.465.85 and low of Rs.461.
