AXIS Bank allots 177478 equity shares under ESOP

The Committee of Whole-Time Directors of AXIS Bank Ltd on February 23, 2011 has made the allotment of 1,77,478 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 41,02,65,952 equity shares from 41,00,88,474 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1254.85, down by Rs.9.85 or 0.78%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1278.70 and low of Rs.1251.

The total traded quantity was 1.43 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.57 lakhs.
