Patni Computer Systems allots 153758 equity shares under Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated December 27, 2010 has allotted 123,509 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 3,244 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 1,612 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated December 30, 2010 has allotted 30,249 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 3,454 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 1,727 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.468.30, down by Rs.1.30 or 0.28%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.473.60 and low of Rs.467.55.

The total traded quantity was 0.44 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.13 lakhs.
