Patni Computer Systems allots 73100 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated December 13, 2010 has allotted 73,100 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 19,550 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 9,775 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.479.65, down by Rs.10.75 or 2.19%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.503.25 and low of Rs.475.50.

The total traded quantity was 3.09 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.83 lakhs.
