Godrej Industries approves Employee Stock Grant Scheme 2011

Godrej Industries Ltd has announced that at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company held on October 27, 2010, the Board has approved Employee Stock Grant Scheme 2011, subject to approval of shareholders. The Scheme envisages creation and issue of fresh equity shares not exceeding 25,00,000 (Twenty Five Lac) of face value Re. 1/- each, to the eligible employees.

The stock was trading at Rs.221.45, down by Rs.5.35 or 2.36%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.229 and low of Rs.219.20.

The total traded quantity was 1.81 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.58 lakhs.
