Patni Computer Systems allots 248235 Equity Shares

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated June 01, 2010, has allotted 248,235 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees/ director including 216,900 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 108,450 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.598.50, up by Rs.21.35 or 3.70%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.603 and low of Rs.570.

The total traded quantity was 235455 compared to 2 week average of 66778.
