XL Telecom Board declares 10% interim dividend

XL Telecom Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 27, 2007, inter alia, has approved the following:

1. Declared the Interim Dividend @ 10% on the Equity Shares of the Company for the Financial Year 2006-07.

2. Approved the re-appointment of Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Managing Director for a further period of three years with effect from June 01, 2007 on the existing terms and conditions.

3. Approved the implementation of change of name to "XL Telecom & Energy Ltd" which was earlier approved by the Board of Director and RoC has granted the availability of the name.

4. Convened the Extra-ordinary General Meeting or the members of the Company for obtaining members approval for re-appointment of Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Managing Director and Change of name of the Company.
