Idea Cellular allots 216714 Equity Shares

Idea Cellular Ltd has announced that the ESOS Compensation Committee vide its circular resolution dated March 27, 2010, has allotted 2,16,714 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to the Option Grantees, pursuant to the exercise of Stock Options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006 (ESOS-2006).

Further the Company has noted that, the Equity Share Capital of the Company, post the said allotment, stands increased to 3,29,98,37,792 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 32,99,83,77,920/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.67.05, up by Rs.0.60 or 0.90%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.67.85 and low of Rs.66.05.

The total traded quantity was 695548 compared to 2 week average of 1248089.
