Ion Exchange allots 16400 Equity Shares

Ion Exchange India Ltd has announced that at the Employees' Stock Option Compensation Committee Meeting held on January 21, 2010, the Committee allotted 16,400 equity shares to employees of the Company, pursuant to stock options exercised under the Employees Stock Option Scheme - ESOS 2008.

The stock closed the day at Rs.151.75, down by Rs.6.65 or 4.20%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.172.30 and low of Rs.148.10.

The total traded quantity was 49566 compared to 2 week average of 79432.
