Manappuram General to consider QIP issue on Dec 26, 2009

Manappuram General Finance & Leasing Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on December 26, 2009, mainly to consider further issue of capital by QIP and to make private placement of equity shares to Qualified Institutional buyers.

The stock was trading at Rs.617, up by Rs.14.20 or 2.36%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.623.90 and low of Rs.561.

The total traded quantity was 14356 compared to 2 week average of 9933.
