Mercator Lines clarifies on news item regarding IPO of Singapore arm

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Mercator Lines Singapore arm plans IPO", Mercator Lines Ltd has clarified that the Company has not issued any official release on the subject matter of the news.

Further the Company has stated that, its wholly owned subsidiary Company viz. Mercator Singapore (Pte) Ltd; is looking for more expansion avenues and appropriate financing plans. However, nothing has been firmed up and the news item appears to be based on the rumors.
