Fortis Healthcare allots 8940 Equity Shares under ESOP

Fortis Healthcare Ltd has announced that the Remuneration Committee of the Company on October 09, 2OO9 has approved the allotment of 8,940 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each, at a premium of Rs. 61/- per share, to the eligible employees, upon exercise of vested stock options, under the "Employee Stock Option Plan 2007" of the Company.

Consequent to the said allotment the paid-up share capital of the Company has gone upto 226,675,473 equity shams of Rs. 10/- each, aggregating Rs. 2,266,754,730/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.106.75 down by Rs 0.85 or 0.79%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 108.50 and intraday low of Rs 106.50.

The total traded quantity was 116552 compared to 2 week average of 157438.
