Delta Corp allots 16633000 shares

Delta Corp Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of Directors of the Company ("Committee") at its meeting held on September 07, 2009, has allotted 166,33,000 fully paid-up equity shares of face value Re. 1/- each, of the Company, at a price of Rs. 50.0625/- per equity share (including a premium of Rs. 49.0625/- per equity share), aggregating to Rs. 83,26,89,562.50 (Rupees Eighty Three Crores Twenty Six Lacs Eighty Nine Thousand Five Hundred and Sixty Two and Paise Fifty only).

Consequent to the issue and allotment of the Equity Shares as aforesaid, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company stands increased from the present Rs. 15,05,28,130 equity shares of face value Re. 1/- each, to Rs. 16,71,61,130 equity shares of face value Re. 1/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.56.70, up by Rs.0.80 or 1.43%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.58.95 and low of Rs.56.10.

The total traded quantity was 587905 compared to 2 week average of 813525.
