Banswara Syntex allots 16.5 lakh warrants

Banswara Syntex Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 29, 2009, has allotted 16,50,000 warrants to the persons other than Promoter, these Warrants entitle the holders to apply for and obtain allotment of one equity shares of the face value of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 31.00 per warrant (equity share) determined as per SEBI (DIP) Guidelines. 25% of the issue price has been received by the Company in compliance of the said Guidelines.

Issue of these Warrants was approved by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on August 17, 2009.

The stock was trading at Rs.49.75, up by Rs.0.35 or 0.71%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.49.90 and low of Rs.48.80.

The total traded quantity was 1018 compared to 2 week average of 5477.
