Ansal Housing allots 18 lakh warrants

Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd has announced that the Committee of Board of the Company in their meeting held on July 24, 2009, have approved the allotment of 18,00,000 (Eighteen Lacs) warrants, each warrant of Rs 40/-, convertible into one equity share within 18 months from the date of allotment of warrants on preferential basis of face value of Rs 10/- each at a premium of Rs 30/- per equity share to the following Promoters of the Company aggregating to Rs 7.20 crores (Rupees Seven Crores Twenty Lacs only) and the Company has received Rs 1.80 crores towards 25% value of the warrants.

The Applicant M/s. Snow White Cable Network Pvt. Ltd (Promoter) was allotted 400000 warrants and 25% of amount received (Rs) was 4000000.

M/s. Glorious Properties Pvt. Ltd (Promoter) was allotted 400000 warrants and 25% of amount received (Rs) was 4000000.

M/s. Akash Deep Portfolios Pvt. Ltd (Promoter) was allotted 1000000 warrants and 25% of amount received (Rs): 10000000.

The stock closed the day at Rs.47.80, up by Rs.2.25 or 4.94%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.47.80 and low of Rs.45.50.

The total traded quantity was 27783 compared to 2 week average of 21879.
