Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:
The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 1480.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 1235.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 4461.80 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 5659.60 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
The Consolidated results are as follows
The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 1767.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 1360.60 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 4185.40 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 5390.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
