Godfrey Phillips clarifies on news item regarding bonus and stock split

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Bonus buzz at Godfrey Phillips", Godfrey Phillips India Ltd has clarified that the Company is not aware of the basis on which the news item has been published with regard to the Company's plan to issue bonus shares and splitting the stock thereafter. Further the Company has informed that at present there is no such proposal under consideration.
