Orient Ceramics Board approves Issue of Bonus Shares

Orient Ceramics & Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 28, 2006, has approved, subject to the consent of the members, the following:

1. Enhancement of Authorised Capital from Rs 10 Crores to Rs 15 Crores and consequent changes in the capital clauses of Memorandum and articles of Association.

2. Issue of Bonus shares in the proportion of 5 Bonus Shares of Rs 10/- each fully paid-up for every 4 fully paid-up Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each.

3. The date of the Extra-ordinary General Meeting is fixed on December 27, 2006.
