Coimbatore-headquartered Super Sales India Limited has announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). Driven by a strong performance in its core Textile Division, the company staged a major operational turnaround, delivering a net profit of ₹900.18 lakh (₹9.00 crore) compared to a net loss of ₹138.61 lakh in the preceding quarter (Q4 FY26) and a net profit of ₹176.40 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous year (Q1 FY26).

Key Financial Highlights (Q1 FY27 vs Q1 FY26 & Q4 FY26)

Revenue from Operations: Revenue rose 13.6% year-on-year to ₹11,230.40 lakh for Q1 FY27, up from ₹9,883.19 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹10,292.43 lakh in Q4 FY26.

Total Income: Stood at ₹11,439.28 lakh, supported by ₹208.88 lakh in other income, reflecting growth over ₹10,089.85 lakh in the year-ago quarter.

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Climbed to ₹1,092.83 lakh, registering a substantial increase from ₹225.68 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹90.86 lakh in Q4 FY26.

Profit After Tax (PAT): Came in at ₹900.18 lakh after adjusting for current tax of ₹322.86 lakh and a deferred tax credit of ₹130.21 lakh. This represents a multi-fold jump over the ₹176.40 lakh reported in Q1 FY26.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter expanded to ₹29.31 per share (face value of ₹10 each), compared to ₹5.74 in Q1 FY26 and negative ₹4.51 in Q4 FY26.

Total Comprehensive Income: Reached ₹8,314.86 lakh for the quarter, significantly boosted by other comprehensive income items of ₹7,414.68 lakh (net of tax).

Segment Performance Overview

1. Textile Division

The Textile Division served as the key growth engine during the quarter, generating segment revenue of ₹9,295.71 lakh compared to ₹7,942.33 lakh in Q1 FY26. Profitability within the division experienced a sharp increase, with segment results (profit before tax and interest) surging to ₹1,209.95 lakh from ₹250.55 lakh in the corresponding period last year and ₹142.33 lakh in Q4 FY26. Segment assets for Textiles stood at ₹27,189.70 lakh.

2. Engineering Division

The Engineering Division reported revenue of ₹1,684.73 lakh for Q1 FY27, compared to ₹1,732.88 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹1,525.22 lakh in Q4 FY26. Segment profit before tax and interest for the engineering business stood at ₹48.10 lakh, while segment assets were recorded at ₹10,452.88 lakh.

3. Agency Division

The Agency Division brought in revenue of ₹458.84 lakh, up from ₹414.63 lakh in Q1 FY26. It contributed ₹197.21 lakh in segment profit before tax and interest, compared to ₹179.54 lakh in the year-ago period. Segment assets were listed at ₹1,984.18 lakh.

Expense Analysis & Balance Sheet Position

Total expenses for the quarter amounted to ₹10,346.45 lakh, up from ₹9,864.17 lakh in Q1 FY26 but lower than the ₹10,404.80 lakh incurred in Q4 FY26.

Cost of Materials Consumed: ₹6,234.04 lakh (compared to ₹6,039.43 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Employee Benefits Expense: ₹1,295.70 lakh (up from ₹1,245.44 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Finance Costs: ₹248.79 lakh (compared to ₹200.41 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Depreciation & Amortisation: ₹559.19 lakh (down from ₹614.77 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Other Expenses: ₹2,119.42 lakh.
