Steel Strips Wheels Limited Reports Stellar 36.84% YoY Growth in Net Turnover for June 2026

Automotive wheel manufacturer Steel Strips Wheels Limited (SSWL) has announced an exceptional operational performance for June 2026, delivering broad-based growth across multiple domestic product categories alongside a critical value-side recovery in its international business.

Stellar Topline Expansion

The company recorded a substantial surge in its monthly revenues during June 2026. Net turnover for the month climbed to Rs. 479.87 Crores, marking a robust year-on-year (YoY) growth of 36.84% compared to the Rs. 350.67 Crores achieved in June 2025. Gross turnover for the same period stood at Rs. 554.10 Crores against Rs. 426.31 Crores in the previous year, securing a steady 29.98% expansion. Across the entire business, overall volumes advanced by 23% YoY.

Strategic Segment-Wise Analysis

The strong momentum was driven by rapid electric vehicle (EV) component adoption, rural market resilience, product premiumization, and firming commercial demand.

2 & 3 Wheelers (including EV): This segment emerged as the fastest-growing vertical for the company, posting a phenomenal 74% growth by value alongside a 40% growth by volume. The disproportionately high value growth points to an aggressive pivot toward higher-margin product delivery, heavily supported by the market acceleration of EVs.

Truck Segment: Serving as a primary engine for both volume and value, the truck vertical achieved a 54% expansion by value and a 39% growth by volume. This reflects robust freight demand and a strengthening commercial vehicle replacement cycle.

Alloy Wheels & Passenger Cars: The alloy wheels segment showcased a clear trend of premiumization, driving a 35% growth in value and a 21% volume increase. Overall monthly alloy products sales grew by 23% by volume. Meanwhile, the passenger car segment maintained a stable trajectory with a 9% growth by value and an 11% volume expansion.

Tractor Segment: Capitalizing on healthy rural cash flows and sustained farm mechanization, the tractor category recorded a 34% increase by value and a 27% increase by volume, consolidating SSWL's position in the agricultural vehicle space.

Turnaround in Export Realizations

Exports registered a notable inflection point during the month. After a prolonged period of subdued value performance, international sales turned value-positive with a 7% YoY growth. This value recovery occurred despite a 39% decline in export volumes, which continue to be impacted by ongoing international logistics constraints. The divergence highlights improving realizations in SSWL's international order book, driven by strategic pricing and a shift toward premium configurations.
