Godavari Biorefineries Ltd commissions Grain based Distillery

Today, i.e. on June 29, 2026, Godavari Biorefineries Limited has commenced of a corn/grain-based distillery at its Sameerwadi Unit.

The existing capacity of the company is 600 KLPD on Sugarcane juice/syrup and the capacity utilization is at 41%.

The new capacity added is 200 KLPD at an outlay of Rs. 130 Cr approximate which was raised through internal accruals and debt.

The unit will give us a dual-feedstock capability and will ensure more resilient ethanol production, even during climate-related disruptions, and position us to meet the growing demand under India's ethanol blending program.

Shares of Godavari Biorefineries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 278.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 281.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9182 in over 235 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 280.95 and intraday low of 275.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2551412.00.
