Suraj Industries Ltd., through its subsidiary Carya Chemicals & Fertilizers Private Limited ("CARYA") is engaged in the manufacturing and bottling of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), Country Liquor(CL) and Rajasthan made Liquor (RML). In April, 2025, CARYA commissioned its bottling facility with an installed capacity of ~48 lakh cases per annum. This achievement marks as a significant milestone for the company's integrated liquor manufacturing unit in Rajasthan.
The facility manufactures and bottles its own brands of Rajasthan Made Liquor (RML) and Country Liquor (CL) brands. Its RML portfolio includes Carya Black Leo XXX Rum, Carya Hill Top Classic Whisky and Carya Hill Top Orange Vodka, while its Country Liquor portfolio comprises Carya Jhumroo, Carya Nimboo Mastana, Carya Preet and Carya Dhol Dhamaka.
In addition, under a manufacturing agreement with Allied Blenders & Distillers Limited, CARYA is engaged in the bottling of select IMFL brands including Officer's Choice Prime Whisky, Iconiq White Prime International Grain Whisky and Sterling Reserve B7 Deluxe Blended Whisky.
Further strengthening its manufacturing footprint with Radico Khaitan Tie-Up:
- The company is pleased to announce manufacturing arrangement of CARYA with Radico Khaitan Limited, one of India's leading alco-bev players and a globally recognized manufacturer of branded IMFL.
- CARYA has received the requisite approvals from the Excise Department and is expected to commence bottling operations for Radico's brands shortly.
- The tie-up is expected to enhance capacity utilization, strengthen operational efficiencies, and further expand the Company's presence in the Rajasthan's growing alco-bev market.
As part of its long-term backward integration strategy, CARYA is slated to set up a 125 KLPD grain-based greenfield distillery. The distillery is expected to be commissioned during JulyAugust 2026. Upon commissioning, ENA will be used for captive consumption, thereby strengthening backward integration, operational efficiencies and supporting margin improvement.
Update on Grain-Based Distillery Project:
- The main process plant has been supplied and installed by Praj Industries Limited, one of India's leading distillery technology providers.
- Major equipment installation has been completed, while integration, electrification, and pipeline connectivity works are progressing well.
- The Company has applied for Consent to Operate from the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board and expects to receive the approval shortly.
