Spice Islands Industries Limited (Earlier known as Spice Islands Apparels Limited) has taken on lease the hotel property known as "Hotel Somprabha", situated at Veraval, Taluka Veraval, District Gir Somnath, Gujarat, bearing Survey No. 821/5 paiki-R, admeasuring 1840.90 sq. mtrs. (non-agricultural land), being Plot No. 1 (Final Plot No. 1237/30 paiki), sub-plot No. 1/A admeasuring 178.27 sq. mtrs., comprising a constructed commercial hotel building. The premises have been taken on Rent from Hotel Somprabha - Partnership Firm, through its authorised partners Mr. Ratanthayra Harsh Dinemabhai and Mr. Ratanthayra Mahesh Karshandas, for the purpose of carrying on the hospitality business, on the terms and conditions set out in the Rent agreement.

The property has been taken on Rent considering the high tourism potential and the increasing inflow of tourists in the city.
