Godawari Power And Ispat Ltd announces temporary suspension of operations at Boria Tibu

Godawari Power And Ispat Limited has announced that the mining activities at Boria Tibu have been temporarily suspended with effect from 1st April. 2025 in view of expiry of mining plan approval for company's Boria Tibu, Iron Ore mines situated at village: Boria Tibu Dist: Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh as approved by Indian Bureau of Mines has expired on 31st March. 2025. The Company has already applied for renewal of Mining Plan approval for renewal of mining plan is awaited.

The operations at mines will be resumed after receipt of renewal approval from Indian Bureau of Mines, which is expected to take around 10 days.

The annual rated capacity of aforesaid Iron Ore Mines is 7,05,000 TPA as per earlier approved mining plan. However, there is no major financial impact on the performance of the Company, since the contribution from mine in the profitability of the Company was negligible till now in high cost of operations.
