Indian Bank to raise additional Rs. 5000 crore long term infrastructure bonds

The Board of Directors of Indian Bank in its meeting held on date i.e. 20th March 2025, approved for raising additional Long Term Infrastructure Bonds aggregating upto Rs.5000 Crore over and above Rs.10000 crore already raised by the Bank in current FY 2024-25, in one or more tranches during the current or subsequent financial year at an opportune time based on the requirement for financing/refinancing of Infrastructure and Affordable Housing in compliance with applicable RBI guidelines and other applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Shares of Indian Bank was last trading in BSE at Rs. 533.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 525.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 26514 in over 1772 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 536.55 and intraday low of 525.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 14098399.00.
