SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd appoints COO

The board of directors of SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited has approved the appointment of Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Sharma as Chief Operating Officer of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Sharma is a career banker and has a rich experience of 29 years with SBI in diverse roles. Mr. Sharma joined the Bank in 1995 and held positions in the Retail and Corporate Banking verticals of the Bank. Prior to being deputed to SBI Card, Mr. Sharma held the position of GM - Anytime Channels Department. In his previous assignments, Mr. Sharma has performed as DGM (Special Projects) Digital & Transaction Banking Department, DGM - Govt. Business Services & Solutions Unit and Regional Manager at Agra Module. He has also handled large corporate advances whilst his stay at Industrial Finance Branch, New Delhi. Apart from being a post-graduate in M.Sc. Physics, he is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Advising along with Certificates in Cyber Security and AML & KYC.

Shares of SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 725.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 732.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 76650 in over 3976 trades.
