Canara Bank fixes May 15, 2024 as record date for stock split

Canara Bank has fixed Wednesday, 15th May 2024 as the "Record Date" for determining entitlement of Equity Shareholders for the purpose of sub division / split of existing Equity Shares of the Bank, such that 1 (one) equity share having face value of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only) each, fully paid up, will be sub-divided into 5 (Five) equity shares having face value of Rs. 2/- (Rupees Two only) each, fully paid up, ranking pari-passu in all respects, which was approved by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) vide letter ref no. DOR.CAP.S365/21-01-002/2024-25 dated 16.04.2024.

Shares of Canara Bank was last trading in BSE at Rs. 578.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 583.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 348618 in over 9216 trades.
