NTPC signs BTA with NTPC Mining Ltd for coal mining business

NTPC Limited and NTPC Mining Limited have executed the a Business Transfer Agreement for hiving-off its coal mining business, consisting of 6 coal mines on 17 August 2023, in New Delhi. The BTA shall become effective upon completion of the conditions precedent mentioned in the BTA.

Shares of NTPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 215.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 217.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1228087 in over 9042 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 219.75 and intraday low of 215.30. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 265831853.00.
