Lux Industries appoints Mr. Udai Kumar Agarwal as Chief Operating Officer

Lux Industries Limited, one of India's largest hosiery producer and exporter has announced appointment of Mr. Udai Kumar Agarwal as Chief Operating Officer of the Company with effect from November 14, 2022.

Brief profile of Mr. Udai Kumar Agarwal

Mr. Udai Kumar Agarwal, a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India & Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India, has extensive experience of 32 years with more than 13 years in Textile Manufacturing Industry.

He has expertise in Strategic planning, Setting up of Projects, Business Development and Business Process Improvement. His success stories include, setting up of Green Field Apparel Project, launching of leggings brand 'TSG BREEZE' which became popular in India as well as in other countries.

He has represented many global companies having recognition worldwide such as Creora, PT. Primayudha Madirijaya, PT. Pabrik Kertas, Bierrebi, MHM, Brother, Kansai, Shanggong, Pindarus, Hemway & Unitech, etc.

Commenting on the appointment of Mr. Udai Kumar Agarwal, Mr. Pradip Kumar Todi, Managing Director said, "On behalf of the Board of Lux, I welcome Mr. Agarwal, an accomplished professional, as part of our leadership team. Shares of Lux Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1698.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1692.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2037 in over 414 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1708.50 and intraday low of 1689.80. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3459529.00.
