Rainbow Children's Medicare Limited (RCML/Company), India's leading, pediatric multispecialty and obstetrics & gynecology children's care hospital chain, announced the inauguration of its latest 55 bed spoke hospital at OMR (Sholinganallur), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
With today's development the Company is initiating its hub-and-spoke model of Hyderabad and Bengaluru at Chennai. The hospital located at OMR (Sholinganallur), has been envisaged as a spoke hospital and will serve to strengthen the presence of Rainbow in Chennai. This hospital will provide comprehensive pediatric and obstetrics services which includes consultant led 24x7 emergency care in pediatrics and obstetrics, outpatient services and level 3 NICU services. The hospital will transfer all complex patients requiring tertiary and quaternary care treatment to the Hub hospital at Guindy thereby emphasizing the multi-disciplinary and collaborative team approach of the RCML brand.
RCML is working constantly to improve its service offering to achieve its goal of providing quality pediatric healthcare across cities. The Company intends to add 1,000 beds in its target cities of Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, National Capital Region and Tier-2 cities of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu over the next 5 years.
