Bharti Airtel allots 93408 Equity Shares

Bharti Airtel Ltd has announced that pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Offering Circular dated May 12, 2004 the Allotment Committee of Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on June 02, 2008, has allotted 93,408 fully paid up equity shares of the Company upon conversion of USD 500000 FCCBs.

With the allotment of the above shares the equity base of the Company stand increased from present level of 1897927396 (Nos.) to 1898020804 (Nos.) equity shares of Rs 10 each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.877.70, up by Rs.1.25 or 0.14%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.888 and low of Rs.865.

The total traded quantity was 349495 compared to 2 week average of 495687.
