Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of December 2021. The company has reported 2% YoY drop in sales during December 2021 at 12518 units as against 12760 units in December 2020. Domestic sales decreased 3% in December 2021 at 11493 units as compared to 11855 units in December 2020.
LCV sales was down 17% YoY at 4899 units in December 2021 as against 5878 units in December 2020. Domestic LCV sales decreased 17% YoY to 4741 units during December 2021, as compared to 5682 units in December 2020.
M&HCV sales increased 11% YoY to 7619 units in December 2021, as against 6882 units in December 2020. M&HCV bus sales was up 57% YoY to 1020 units in December 2021 as compared to 649 units in December 2020. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 6% YoY at 6599 units, as against 6233 units in December 2020.
Domestic M&HCV sales was up 9% YoY at 6752 units, as compared to 6173 units in December 2020. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 4% to 6137 units in December 2021 as against 5928 units in December 2020. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 151% to 615 units in December 2021, as compared to 245 units in December 2020.
