Manappuram General Board to consider preferential issue

Manappuram General Finance & Leasing Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on May 26, 2007, inter alia, to consider the following:

1. To consider raising Additional Capital by way of a preferential issue of securities.

2. To increase the authorised capital of the Company.
