Cholamandalam DBS Board recommends 40% dividend

Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 25, 2007, inter alia, has recommended to the shareholders for approval a dividend of 40% (Rs 4/- per share) on the equity shares.

The Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from July 25, 2007 to July 30, 2007 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of dividend & Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on July 30, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.124.50, up by Rs.9.45 or 8.21%. The total traded quantity was 29362 compared to 2 week average of 5603. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.126.55 and intraday low of Rs.116.
