Aztecsoft closes FY 2006-07 with consolidated revenues of Rs 260+ Crores, up 32%

Bangalore, April 27, 2007: Aztecsoft Limited (Aztecsoft) announced its un-audited consolidated financial results taken on record by the Board of Directors for the fourth quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2007. For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007, Aztecsoft has posted revenues of Rs. 62.25 crores and a net profit of Rs. 6.75 crores on consolidated basis.
Key Highlights:
- The Honorable High Court of Karnataka has approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Aztec Disha Technologies Limited with Aztecsoft Limited.
- Mr. Samir Bodas promoted as President of Aztecsoft.
- Revenues grew sequentially (Y-o-Y sequential growth) by 32% in Rupee terms and 29% in US Dollar terms.
- Aztecsoft joins Symbian Platinum Program to support the growing market for Symbian smart phones.
- Continued strong customer acquisition with 6 new clients added in this quarter.
- During the current quarter, Aztecsoft’s most important asset namely its human capital, stands at 2,194 Aztecians.
- Transfer of Dendrite ODC completed this quarter.
- Cash and cash equivalents stand at Rs. 61.1 crore as on March 31, 2007.
Annual Performance for FY 2006-07:
- Consolidated Revenues for FY 2006-07 was at Rs. 260.99 crores (USD $ 57.7 million), registering an increase of 32% over Rs. 198.23 crores (USD 44.70 million) in FY 2005-6.
- Consolidated Profit after Tax grew by 5% to Rs. 38.62 crores, up from Rs. 36.87 crores in FY 2005-06.
- On a stand-alone and amalgamated basis for FY 2006-7, Aztecsoft’s Revenues and Profit after Tax were at Rs. 241.44 crores and Rs 37.98 crores respectively.
- Consolidated Revenues for QIV-07 of Rs. 62.25 crores grew by 13% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year QIV-06 which was at Rs. 54.96 crores.
- Consolidated Profit after Tax was at Rs. 6.75 crores as against the figure of Rs. 10.53 crores over the corresponding quarter of the previous year QIV-06.
- On a stand-alone and amalgamated basis for QIV-07, Aztecsoft’s Revenues and Profit after Tax were at Rs. 57.50 crores and Rs 7.03 crores respectively.
