SAIL may set up 4 MT steel plant in Chhattisgarh in JV with RINL & NMDC

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has announced that possibility of setting up a 4 million tonne Integrated Steel Plant in the State of Chhattisgarh as a Joint Venture amongst the Company, RINL and NMDC is being explored. MOU in this regard would be entered into after obtaining necessary approvals.
The stock closed the day at Rs.134.05, down by Rs.0.05 or 0.04%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.136.80 and low of Rs.133.10. The total traded quantity was 1473584 compared to 2 week average of 2170219.
