Rolta India Q3 profit after tax at Rs.469.419 million, total income at Rs.1530.369 million

Rolta India Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 469.419 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 371.055 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 1184.436 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 1530.369 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The Consolidated results are as follows: The Group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 455.392 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 330.320 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 1428.223 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 1864.960 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.384.55, up by Rs.14.05 or 3.79%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.387 and low of Rs.373.95. The total traded quantity was 1096597 shares compared to 2 week average of 503098.
