CMC Board recommends 80% dividend

CMC Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 14, 2007, inter alia, has recommended a dividend of Rs 8.00 per share (80% on an equity share of par value of Rs 10/- each) subject to the approval of members at the 31st Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on June 25, 2007.

The stock closed up by Rs.69.55 or 5.85% at Rs.1258.45. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1274 and low of Rs.1193.50. 35950 shares changed hands compared to 2 week average of 11756 in BSE.
