Ashok Leyland Ltd has announced that consequent to restructuring of the ownership pattern, the following Companies have ceased to be subsidiaries of the Company as of March 29, 2007.

1. Avia Ashok Leyland Motors, s.r.o., Czech Republic

2. Ashok Leyland (UAE) LLC., U.A.E.

Shares of the company closed the day at Rs.38.45, up by Rs.1.05 or 2.81% on volume of 873210 shares at a weighted average price of Rs.38.22.
