India Infoline clarifies on news item regarding stake sale

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Merrill Lynch eyes majority stake in India Infoline", India Infoline Ltd has clarified that, in this regard, the Company deny any such reports as they are baseless and without verification with the Company.

The Company also deny any address by Mr. Nirmal Jain to the employees at any time in this regard and accordingly the report in this matter not true and without factual verification with the Company.
