Satyam Computer is the first Asian Company to feature in the List of Top 125 Training Organizations

Satyam Computer Services Ltd on March 15, 2007 has announced that it has earned 15th place on Training Magazine’s List of the world's Top 125 Organizations for outstanding training and learning programs. It is not only the first time the Company has made the list, it is the first time any Asian Company has been so honored.

"It is quite an achievement to be the first Asian organization to crack this prestigious, 7-year-old list, and we have done so compellingly," said Ed Cohen, the senior vice president of the Satyam School of Leadership. "By breaking in at No. 15, we show that we have come a long way in a short time, and are now among the best of the best." Cohen is no stranger to the Training ranking, having led his previous Company, Booz Allen Hamilton to the number one ranking just prior to joining Satyam.

The magazine noted the Company's ability to blend e-learning and instructor-led coursework effectively. It also mentioned the Company's iterative approach to training, whereby associates gain basic skills as entry level employees, and then develop them consistently, throughout their careers.
